Bank In School Scholarships
The OC Catholic Foundation is dedicated to supporting education through scholarships given to one student at each of our partner schools.
Bank In School Program
Our Bank In School Program brings financial education directly into participating schools and gives students the opportunity to practice saving money in a real-world setting.
Each month, OC Federal Credit Union visits participating schools to collect deposits from students who have accounts with us. This hands-on experience helps children develop the habit of saving regularly while learning important lessons about budgeting, goal setting, and financial responsibility.
To celebrate and encourage student participation, one student from each participating school is awarded an annual scholarship in recognition of their commitment to saving and participating in the program.

Through our sponsorship, students and educators gain access to engaging financial education resources designed for every grade level, from Kindergarten through 12th grade.

Learning about money should be engaging, interactive, and fun. That’s why our team offers complimentary classroom presentations for participating schools. Our financial education specialists can visit classrooms and present age-appropriate lessons on a variety of topics.
How You Can Get Involved
Student Banking Program
Through our Student Banking Program, young people gain hands-on experience with saving, budgeting, and building lifelong financial habits. In partnership with schools and families, the program encourages financial responsibility while helping students develop confidence in managing their money and planning for the future. Inspired by OC Federal’s Genesis Savings program, students can learn the value of saving early while earning rewards for smart financial decisions.
